Matty

I caught up with one of my best mates tonight.. (Besht Mate..mate!) … Now you may ask why is this worthy of a post at 1am.. Well I’ll tell ya!!.. You see Matty and I have been mates since we were 11 years old and basically inseparable throughout our school years.. but over the years both having very different and such hectic lives, its kinda hard to make time to catch up on a regular basis.. so its kind of a BIG deal to hang out even if it is for 4-5 hours once every six months…Although we hardly see each other we can pick up from where we left off... so to have that kinda friendship is something I value heaps!. So tonight we went to Hans for dinner and then played pool at Pot Black in Cannington and just talked about life and where were at... we talked about work.. Uni ..and so on.. and that was just AWESOME.. I would love to see him more often but I know that it’s just not viable.. we are both time poor.. he works basically 7 days a week ( He owns his own business) and the time he does have off he is either working on his investment properties or helping someone out.. I tell ya he is such an inspiration.. especially with my laid back attitude on life.. He just has this innate ability to achieve anything he puts his mind to.. I have always admired his intelligence.. He is by far the smartest person I know.. not just intelligence but street smarts too.. a wise man indeed.. He is someone whom I go to for advice and know that I am getting sound advice.. Most of the major decisions I have ever made has been bounced off him first and his advice has carried a lot of weight in my decision making process.. he’s been there through thick and thin.. seen me at my very best and my worst.. The good The bad The ugly.. to me he is family.. a brother.. I so value him and his friendship that I could rave on about him all day long and still do him no justice in describing what an awesome guy and mate he is..
