Perth... What a city..

On Sunday I decided to be a tourist in my own city. So equipped with my digital camera off I went. Now, let me give you some insight as to why I would even do this. Well ever since I went around the world in 2000 my attitude towards Perth has not been the best. I tend to bitch about it almost any chance I get. Saying things like its just a big town or its so backwards that I’d rather live elsewhere. But in reality I would not live anywhere else in the world. Yeah sure there are loads of beautiful cities and probably places I would also love to live in, but Perth is where God has me NOW! And having this negative attitude towards it isn’t good. Well at least for me it isn’t. So on Sunday I decided to look at Perth from a different perspective. I've been to all the places I took pictures in but I saw its beauty from behind the lens of my camera. And let me just say I live in a HOT city!! It’s so peaceful, easy to get around in and everything is within reach! Here are just a few of the many pics I took on Sunday arvo….

I love going to the dawn service on ANZAC day.. Something about the sun rising up just behind the monument. It's so amazing.. I remember that our folks used to take us to do something touristy in our city every Sunday afternoon when we were little. I loved it, if I ever am in charge of raising a human (god forbid) I think I would do that too... good work Sergio.. don't get too content with Perth!
