Well here I am reporting from Niagara Falls- the Canadian side.
I bet you folks back at home did not know that Paul M has a Beauty Salon in Elgin Street- Ottawa, and that Amanda P has a store in King Street West- Toronto.
Or that my brother has a coffee shop in Dupont Street- Toronto. Love the contrast of this second photo, the old City of Toronto Town Hall against the Bank of Canada building.
This is the Kensington Markets - Toronto where kids where playing hockey in the blocked off street (ice-hockey fever has gripped Canada with the NHL playoffs on at the moment).
2. & 3. This is the view of downtown from the very top of the 'CN' tower- great view from 1815 feet (thats 553 mtrs tall for those playing at home), and the 3.30pm shadow.
A better view of the 'CN' tower from the Toronto Port. One of the greatest world leaders I believe, quote 'I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, sweat & tears', and then 'Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few', and then 'He mobilised the human language and sent it into battle'. Sir Winston Churchhill.
Wacky sense of humour. This guy was brilliant; juggling 3 sharp knives while cycling a mono.
After 20 photos, I finally captured the rainbow in the middle of Niagara Falls, just amazing!!!
Me in the souvenier shop, Sir Henry Charles Daley who settled in Niagara Falls- with the Skylon Tower in the distance, flowering tulips everywhere.
Distant view of Niagara Falls (Rainbow Bridge on left, American Falls in middle, and Horseshoe Falls on right). This photo almost got me arrested; the bald/ hot headed cop on right named 'Bruno' did not like me taking photos of them taking speed checks and made me sit in the patrol car for a while- and made me delete the photo- lucky I had two photos!! I ended up telling Bruno to get real- I was not causing any harm..... Now to the big melting pot; New York City.

yeah mate, stick it to the cops. i have no respect for authority here in peru, its got me in trouble a few times, but its all in the name of fun, and my issues with authority!
Mum says, 'Keep sweet with Bruno" my love, we want you home not visiting in some hole in USA.
i believe Mrs Eva, ur son Gavin is visiting the USA as a hole... well, as much as the grand canyon is wide and/or deep?
Good work on keeping the local constabulary honest there gavo, hope u get them fired as they didn't find ur "stealth" photo in which u r able to incriminate them.
looking forward to some more installments from Merv - lucky the coppers didn't want to cavity search him, he wouldv'e been stuffed (or rather unstuffed).
Unfortunately Merv was not able to process the immigration visa papers in time and had to stay in Canada. He has been in quarantine for 3 days now and I have been unable to contact him....
Hey Gavsta - tips of things to see in NYC?? I'm there in 3days!! Also... I ate at the PANNEKOEK (Ado)house of pancakes today and saw Powell's designs in Oxford!! They're everywhere!!
