Its been 2 yrs since El Rancho first hit cyberspace.. it was thanks to Ann Ong.. she introduced me to the world of blogging and i haven't looked back since.. there have been a few bumps along the way ... i have annoyed a whole bunch of ppl with my ravings on about this humble blog (u gotta talk it up) and i have even offended a few ppl with the content.. shame.. and that was all in the 1st week!.. and lets not forget the time bryce stood up for his rights.. and left el rancho and started his own blog.. ahhh the controversy.. did wonders for the ratings!.. shame.. and rian.. who can forget rian.. he posted one post and then was taken by bryce to the factor.. and thats when we go the doop in.. ohhhh the doop how i miss thee.. what ever happened to him.. i think its cos bryce decided to come back.. i dunno.. its all fuzzy( and i'm not referring to my arse).. and when redrolle joined the team.. she brought an anointing into this place that can only be credited to her rock star anointing.. she brought it back to worship.. and remember how the b00f was promoted from being a special comments guy to an actual member.. again that caused controversy but by now everyone knew i was el Capitan of this ship otherwise known as Pinochet.. (a Chilean dictator).. then theres jess who bought beauty and serenity to what was a 2 man circus.. then theres ado whose lack of posts has been a talking point of many coffees.. and Gav.. who was a diamond in the rough.. never actually though he would post.. and we were blessed with his wit and humor in his writing style.. thanks mate.. and andrea.. who's posts have declined since she left the shores of sunny WA but has still found time to post on her own blog.. so thats ok.. theres a link to it.. hahaha.. we've had many changes.. some good some bad.. a lot of criticism.. some good and some down right rude.. but all in all its been a great ride and i'm hoping that El Rancho keeps living on for many more years.. but with me leaving for the motherland i am a little skeptical about its life expectancy.. actually scratch that.. i think it will be more of a relevance thing to ppl outside the el rancho family (and u know who u are).. cos there wont be many more 'riverview' events being covered and it will more about our lives.. and thats only of interest to those who call us friends.. so the days where we have ppl coming on to see if they made it may disappear.. which is a shame.. but to all of those who call us friends and wanna keep in touch or know whats happening in each of our lives (thanks for coming).. all i ask is that more ppl leave comments..

let it be known that i love all the news on el rancho. especially anything riverview related. the clips you have put on here on riverview makes me feel like i am there. and i love how up to date and regular the posts are. its great to hear the stories and to see the photos of all those i love back in perth. truly el rancho keeps me informed .. hahaha. but as tony aka serg leaves for motherland. i know the others will step up and keep the news flow happening. looking fwd to hearing and seeing all thing chile. eh. much love and peace to you all. and see youse all in September when i make an appearance for about a weeek - ish hahahaha.. love ya lots! Definitely love this blog, it keeps us in touch with the RV/Perthites world and when we first arrived here especially, it was so important to realise that the real world still moved on and existed as our world was turning upside down! A stability point if you will... Most standing out blogs would have to be the Love Stinks Picnic (we really wanted to be there!) and just generally seeing into the lives of all the bloggers - this blog is gold!
I don't like it when Bryce posts. He's a troublemaker, that one.
I agree with Rian... hee hee! I loved the introduction of the El Rancho speech bubble (if you look to the right)- Always makes me smile! I did love stirring up a bit of love dirt on RV's top 25 hot and single post, I think it may have set the comment record... ahh the good old days when people commented! Then later nipping Harry boy in the bud on the STOP PRESS 'b00f & bridge' engagement!
I love ERR! Long live El Rancho! It flows through my veins, it's prophetic and prolific - I LOVE IT! I'd be bored without it!
