October Update

Well I figure it's time for an update. It's been a busy couple of weeks for me. I'm writing this from Serg's living room in Concepcion, Chile. There's a chill in the air, the fire is cranking and the Latino chef (Serg) is cooking garlic prawns for lunch! I love this house already! A very cool town from what I've seen so far (ie. the supermarket) but more on that later.

I'm roughly three weeks into my new role at Ethur and loving it. I've spent my time preparing for the launch of one of our major initiatives : Deadly Viper Character Assassins. It's a book by Ethur president Mike Foster and Jud Wilhite (Senior Pastor of Central Christian Church in Vegas - one of the fastest growing churches in the US) :: It's an "out of the box" project encouraging leaders to live with radical integrity and radical grace. Check out the website here. The book was launched at the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta on Friday, where all 11,000 delegates were given a free copy!

Due to the shipment of books arriving late from Korea my friend Blake and I were forced to pick them up ourselves and drive 2,200 miles across the country in less than 3 days. An amazing adventure in itself. I've never been so exhausted! California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and eventually Atlanta, Georgia. The conference is probably one of the best I've been to - VIP access! I got to meet John Maxwell, and hear great speakers like Erwin McManus, Craig Groeschel, Dave Ramsey and Rick Warren (who's keen to support the work we're doing at Ethur). So here's a few pics from the week of craziness. And yes, the ninja is me.
