Long walks, a Museum and a Zoo

Last week Massiel and I decided to venture out and see some of the 'sights' in Concepcion.. like the Museum in Hualpen.. only problem was that there aren't any buses that go there.. so much for tourism.. anyway we decided to go as far as we could by bus then walk the rest (one of her friends said it was a nice(read LONG) walk).. so after about the 3rd kilometre of walking (and about an hour into it) i was about to give up when we saw it in the distance and decided to go the extra mile.. literally ..

"HIGH TENSION: DANGER OF DEATH"

this looks like the middle of nowhere but its literally half an hour from home

Pedro del Rio was the guy who gave the city his property to be turned into a museum

this dude had a massive collection of artefacts from around the globe.. worth the walk

a few days later we went to the zoo.. and lets just say i wasnt too impressed

this monkey bites!

even if he looks innocent..

liebre mara and a faisan (dont ask what they are called in english)

a Lynx

Ostrich and a Bear

a chilean puma and the tiger enclosure

the tiger.. Ñandú (Rhea Bird)

a lion and a rabbit

some random shots in the city centre
