OK Disclaimer over... I love Easter, especially that it is time to reflect on sad story of a brilliant truth with a happy ending (especially for believers: Pre-believers feel free to catch on at any time). Holidays, family, chocolate is added to increase the festivities and then Donnybrook goes and chucks in a Apple Festival! Can it get any better?? *Wink wink!*
To set my scene right now: I'm in the bush outside Boyanup on the farm typing by satellite connection... My Oma, Opa and cousin Wil are playing late night Rummingking behind me, sporadically cursing in Dutch at their plight in the game, Ten Commandments on TV (the Red Sea just parted! - cool!)and a cuppa by my side. I ask you again - can it get any better?
...And so I will celebrate the ending of this fabulous Easter Sunday with images of the Donnybrook Apple festival 2006. Complete with Apple Princess, log chopping champions, my Oma's attempt to dunk a policeman and random things one only ever sees 'down south'. I love seeing joy in the little things... Also to all my Riverview family who worked so hard and volunteered over Easter I just wanna say how proud I am to share His house with you all!
