You won't see Team Rwanda on SBS

As we get ready to go to Rwanda we've had a few meetings that get us more informed, prepared for OS mission and amped to go! Personally I can't wait!

The great thing about mission trips is that you're intentionally positioning yourself out of your comfort zone, exposed to be stretched and challenged as you dare to go to a foreign environment and put God in the drivers seat. Whether it be in your neighbours yard in Balga (shame u don't live there anymore Tony - we'll miss the Tip) or to the orphanages of Thailand where my great friend AMP left for today. You can't help but grow in this setting! I recommend a trip for anyone - especially those who've never been.

So anyway - we decided if we're gonna be playing soccer with these little orphans in Africa we may need some practice. So I dedicate this post to the brave souls that ventured into the cold and darkness of late Friday avo to have a kick for Rwanda!

Here's some pics! We had pros like the Dominator Murdocca, Andy quite the star also (even if he wore a hockey T-shirt), The Factor's own Bryce Green who sported some very dirty airplane impersonating tactics, Cuz'n Mike (what a champ and he ran all the way there!) and b00f didn't play - he had a medical certificate. He made for a good ball runner though.

Special thanks to Target Vic Park for the speedy service in the purchase of the official size #5 FINA ball in a record 3.25mins!! Trick is: call ahead!

Enough rambling you want pics right! Go the Socceroos!

Good one Kymbo! Lucky Andy doesn't need any singing practise, but he certainly needs to polish up his soccer skills.

mate all I can say is that playing soccer in spanner weather (cold enough to tighten your nuts) is not a fun experience. I would discourage you from trying it - I couldn't feel my toes it was so damn cold...

I suggested lighting a fire but that would be socially irresponsible!
