Last Tuesday we had a fairly normal youth band practise, except I felt that there was a definite 'step up' from the youth than usual. We have an enormous amount of talent & heart within our music team & it's so exciting to know that these young adults are not only willing but so very able to lead our youth into the realms of heaven!! Maybe it's coz the oldies are departing?!? But that in itself creates opportunities for the next generation to step up and start walking confidently in their gifts.
I love seeing people, especially young people rise up and start to believe that they are capable of so much more than what they see right now. I guess it's finally seeing life through God's eyes...seeing who God has always seen! Without all the rubbish that we stick in between the view of ourself & how God sees us...it just totally skews our perception and causes us to wallow in our crapiness when we could be firing on for God, doing what we're placed on earth to do!!

man, I miss that stage.
Owen is SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see him leading worship next year.
