a few stats..

For those of you playing at home here are some stats on El Rancho...

Since we got the stats counter (23 June 2005) we have had

• 42,592 page loads (average 68/ day)
• 27,996 "unique Visitors" (avearge 44/day)
• 7751 are 1st timers (average 12/day)
• 20245 Returning (average 32/day)

Our highest pageload was on the 5th of December 2005 for this post at 465

Our highest unique visitor count was on the 12th of December 2005 for this post at 235

Some interesting trends have developed..

• The months of June/July 05 and 06 are the lowest months in terms of visitors. I guess its also cos the number of posts have been low and i was away for both July months in 05 and 06!
• Feb 06 was a great month. We got the highest number of returning visits and overall the months had good flow.
• March 07 is proving to be a good month. We have matched our unique visits for Jan and Feb combined and March is only half way thru!
• 25% of visitors spend more than an hour on the blog.. WHAT THE?
  

not bad when u think that 72% of people that come here for the first time return!.. not bad for a shallow blog like ours!..

On behalf of myself and the rest of my contributors.. I'd like to say thanks for ur interest in this blog and for coming back.. i have been thinkin about ending the El Rancho "social pages" but I have reconsidered that thought... but with Kym,Gav,Andrea and soon Bryce absent.. who knows how long we will stay for...
