PART 1: Round the World in 50 DAYS...

BRIS-VEGAS...SINGAPORE...LONDON...

It's been pretty hard settling in to the Gold Coast knowing after only 2 weeks I'd be up up and away on my first official round-the-world holiday. Before leaving my gorgeous family (above) I found myself singing..."I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it, I'm about to loose control and I think I like it!" - you know the rest of the lyrics...so here I am... Day 3 in London, staying with my one of my amazing best-pals Sal... but not before I met this random experimental Physicist from Austria on route to Singapore.

Martin & I found ourselves with 7hrs to kill in transit, we'd strolled 4 laps of the shopping section of the terminal and so there was no option but to show him what it meant to have faith in the rock star anointing... before he could buy the coffees and turn around, I'd scored us 2 of the best seats in the whole airport. Plush red sofas, coffee behind and free internet right in front. A dream for us weary travelers. I said "See ya mate" to the Austrian preppy and before I knew it (and 2 viewings of 'The Holiday' later I was in Heathrow Airport and look who was there to greet me!!!!

...GT (Gaylene) & SAL-PAL (Sally, adopted daughter of the Rolle-clan)the joy at the end of baggage claim... Good times ahead for shizzle with these 2!

As we stopped for the token Krispy Kreme in Paddington Station I ran into another old friend... my little mate Paddington Bear - always posing hey?!...he told me when you're that cute you can't help it! Wise ol bear!

London Cabs are very, very cool and now have a few coloured ones...

Never thought in my years of seeing art in text books at uni that I'd see the celebrated artists like Monet, Picasso, Dali, Pollack, Warhol, Mondrian and Duchamp all in one place in real life at the TATE Modern Art Gallery...
Sliding Doors exhibit...

And the view of St John's Cathedral and the Thames is worth every penny of the £0 admission fee! London is so fun with a friend!

Then I was stoked to meet up with great friends TBag, Dana & her hubby Marcus just like old times!

Best thing about London so far: Good old friends and a real winter!
Favoutite thing: a bed next to Sally's
Today's most memorable moment: Strutting past TBag (Timmy) to see if he'd recognise me in Bryce's Posh sunnies... hee hee! Sally & I were cacking ourselves!

NEXT STOP: Paris!!!

kymbo u r a poser! Why don't u just bugger off?

oh yeah, thats right, u did!

haha....

gooder to see u is having fun, but honestly who wants to go to england? All the poms live here now. Maybe we could convince the kiwi's and South Africans that england is more fun than Oz so we can have all the beer to ourselves?

Hey Boof, you wanna see how many kiwis and SA ians are here already? I think there are more Zulu bars here than Outback ones, which means there are loads! Aren't really many poms in England actually...
