Traffic in Jakarta is something to behold, but our driver kept us safe, that is until he disappeared a week into my stay!
Without a driver, we turned to the local Bajaj to take us around.
Spent a fair bit of time exploring Jakarta's malls, including our "local" Mal Taman Anggrek.
Lots of bargains, you could even pick up a copy of Riverview's finest! Yes, that's El Rancho's very own Jess McPhail on the cover!!
Plenty of stuff to do around the house ... Mille kept me entertained.
Lots of good food, even the odd half-decent cup of coffee.
Our own police escort to see Spiderman 3 at Planet Hollywood. Good to see they've left a space for me on the wall of fame.
Some more sights and sounds in and around Jakarta, apparently the world's 11th largest city.
You didn't have to go far to shop, pretty much everything came past the house on wheels.
My Indonesian improved, from no knowledge, to "very little" knowledge.
A US update will be coming in the near future.
