The Best of NorCal

It's three months now since I left the fine shores of Australia for the United States. I've spent much of my time being well looked after in San Jose by Rian & Jess, as I begin the job hunt and settle in to life here in the US. I'm heading back down to SoCal, more specifically the OC, at the end of the week, so I thought I'd post a few recent highlights from NorCal.

Rian & his Mini Cooper convertible - don't worry - it's not his, really.

Downtown San Jose.

Rian, Jess & the RISE band rocked out a gig in "crazy" Santa Cruz.

The Cullens dropped by for a visit last week, so we decided to hit up San Fran for the day.

The famous "Nob Hill" and local street scene.

Some very cool architecture in downtown.

"Shine ya shoe for a penny, Guvna?"

Mark went crazy with the camera, as did I.

We must have walked every street in downtown. It was Mark's fault.

Some more of the sights.

The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, or what's left of it.

Bryce -- this is a magnificent post. True journalism. Except for the "spin" you put on the Mini Cooper story. Seriously folks, it's not mine. It's a long story...
