New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year Everyone!!
Now I know some people don't like to have resolutions, but I do. They're like goal stops along the way so that I know I'm not just standing still, but learning & growing every year that goes by. So here are a few of mine for this year ahead:
1. Ride my bike at least 3 times a week.
2. Listen to & play with my son more.
3. Get singing & theory lessons.
4. Stop being a mediocre christian & live out the power of the cross on a daily basis.
5. Go to Samoa in September with my whole family... a little island in the pacific with waaay too many children on it!
6. Get rid of that evil black box in my living room! (that would be the tv).
7. Buy our first house.
8. Learn how to surf...and buy a knife to strap to my ankle incase any shark tries to mess with me!
These are only a few of the many. I usually have about 20 every year, and surprisingly I actually accomplish 70% of them which for me is pretty damn good. I would love to know if anyone else has any??!
xx J

Sorry Jess, Love, but i couldn't give a rats about new year resolution unless it is upgrading my tely - which i couldn't really give a rats about either. If say I was looking to have a thought or two about said subject maybe i would write a book... call it "Unleash the Resolution Within" and tell everyone about my New Years Resolution about writing a book - sound like a good idea?

By the way, why wait till the beginning of a new year to buy a house or learn to surf - why not give it a go when you think of it... that is also why i don't think too much, saves on actually having to do something!

tell more people Jessy... most think I don't know what I am on about - they are obviously lower on the intellectual scale than people like us!

alright bOOF, what is your flippin new years resolution. When are you going to write your book? It might make really good toilet reading.... Good onya Jess, I've made a few resolutions-& I'm going to achieve them, even if it wrecks me. I'm going to put people around me to make sure I definitely achieve them. Cheers all....

Who do you think you are Gav? President Bush? What's with the secret service dudes?

Ok, this year I think I will drop 5 to save lives, take six and pick up no tix! I will mow my lawn more often than every 3 months - especially now that it is actually "my lawn" but I will need to find a mower... or I could get some extra fibre in my diet! Works either way.

I will endeavour to drink more preservative free beverages - go the home brew! In fact I have 50 litres waiting for consumption... but I will share it with Tony.

Hows that Gav?

That is brilliant bOOf, in fact I will have to take some of yours and make them mine; and yes- slow down would be one of those resolutions. Also, drink less beer would be one of mine.....
