Love Stink'in awesome!

The people of Perth followed their noses and the hot pink poos to the very first Love Stinks Picnic on V.Day this year and it was a hit thanks to all who embraced our new stinky initiative!! If we had around 160 for our first effort, next year is gonna be huge!! And thanks to all your generosity we raised about $600 for Make Poverty History and African Evangelical Enterprise (AEE)!! Woo hoo! Thanks for sharing the love to those with real need.Brycey & Andi stink up the love!

So despite our booked location being ignored and overtaken by PDA couples we relocated to the grassy knolls across the road before anyone knew the difference. But I tell ya it wasn't easy fighting off the romantics when I was all by myself, sitting pretty and trying to scab space with as many rugs as possible, wearing a 'Love Stinks' t-shirt (with PDA POLICE on the back) and I fought back the tears...Arrghhh! Possibly the most awkward moment of my life. Slightly embarrassing but hey I took one for the Love Stinks Team and it was all worth it.
The PDA (Public Displays of Affection) Police we considered a little corrupt (OK a lot- especially Tracy!) ... and could been seen being bribed with chocolate - a favourite comfort food!
Special thanks to the legendary Mal Cook and Jason Harris for their brilliance in bringing us tailored tunes for this event and the amazing Andi Hopkins - we love you guys - you are all oh so talented!!

"It was the best Valentine's Day I've ever had!" a few Love Stinks party animals said, but sorry if you missed out due to a romantic interlude else where - fair enough but a Love Stinks Picnic would be hard to beat! If you're lucky maybe you won't be in a relationship next year and freed up to come... ;) Just jokes - it's a couple friendly event! Stinky Love to ya!
